The Bellefontaine Police Department released details Thursday on two recent traffic crashes that resulted in citations but no reported injuries.
The first crash happened Sunday evening just before 7:00 p.m. on Eastern Avenue.
According to the report, a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze driven by Danny Proffitt was traveling west on Eastern Avenue when a 2025 Nissan Altima operated by Cheyenne Rogan attempted to make a left turn onto Eastern Avenue and failed to yield the right of way.
The Cruze struck the left front fender of the Altima.
Rogan was cited for failure to yield the right of way while turning left.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene, and no injuries were reported.
The second crash occurred Tuesday just after noon on South Main Street.
Police say a 2002 Acura CL driven by David Bryan-Gearheart was traveling south in the curb lane behind a 2026 Ford F-350 operated by Troy Shook, which was stopped in traffic.
As Bryan-Gearheart attempted to change lanes, the Acura struck the rear of the pickup.
No injuries were reported.
Bryan-Gearheart was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
