The City of Bellefontaine is tentatively planning a second round of leaf pickup beginning November 9.
According to Service-Safety Director Wes Dodds, the tentative schedule includes the following dates:
- Northeast section: November 9, 10, and 12.
- Southeast section: November 13, 16, and 17.
- Southwest section: November 18 and 19.
- Northwest section: November 20 and 23.
Residents should place leaves in the boulevard or as close to the street as possible, but not in the street or on the sidewalk.
Vehicles should be kept away from leaf piles so crews can access them.
The city will not collect bagged leaves, branches, brush, or trash through the leaf pickup program.
Regular refuse collection cannot pick up leaves or other yard waste.
Residents are also reminded that city ordinance prohibits placing grass clippings, shrub trimmings, flowers, or other materials on streets or alleys where they could wash into or clog storm sewers.
For questions or additional information, contact the Street Department at [email protected] or 937-592-1736.
The second-round dates are tentative and may be subject to change.
