Two Bellefontaine High School students are being recognized after representing their school at Ohio’s premier leadership programs this summer.
Lola Kuba attended Buckeye Girls State, while Dalton Frazier participated in Buckeye Boys State during weeklong programs held earlier this month.
The annual programs bring together outstanding rising high school seniors from across the state for hands-on experiences in leadership, citizenship, and government.
Students participate in mock elections and learn how local and state governments operate by creating and running their own governments.
Bellefontaine City Schools congratulated Kuba and Frazier on the honor, commending them for their leadership and for representing the school with pride.
Buckeye Girls State and Buckeye Boys State are among Ohio’s most respected leadership programs, helping prepare students for future roles in public service and community leadership.
