Benjamin Logan Local Schools says Assistant Principal Deepika Scheiderer has been named the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators Assistant Principal of the Year for Zone 3.
Zone 3 includes 13 counties in Southwest and West Central Ohio, making the award a major honor. Scheiderer will now move on to the state competition, where four overall winners will be chosen from across Ohio later this year.
The award recognizes assistant principals who make a strong impact through leadership, school culture, student success, and support for staff and students.
School officials say Scheiderer has helped create a safe and positive environment at Benjamin Logan and has made a difference for students, staff, and families throughout the district.
Scheiderer chose to celebrate the recognition with students, staff members, fellow administrators, and coworkers who have supported her along the way.
