Benjamin Logan High School and Middle School proudly announce their ongoing commitment to combat cancer through a series of community events aimed at raising funds and awareness for the Logan County Cancer Society.
Improvising A Cure Benefit Concert
Join us on Thursday, April 25, 2024, for the “Improvising A Cure” Benefit Concert hosted by the Benjamin Logan Instrumental Music Department. The event begins with a dinner at 6:00 pm in the High School Commons, accompanied by music from the BLHS Jazz Combo starting at 5:45 pm. Enjoy performances by the high school and middle school jazz ensembles and combos. The evening includes a silent auction of student artwork, a bake sale, a 50/50 drawing, and a BBQ-themed dinner. Admission is free, with donations appreciated. All proceeds support the Logan County Cancer Society. Event shirts will be available for purchase.
Raider Relay Kickoff Event
On May 8, 2024, at 10:00 AM, Benjamin Logan High School commences its “Raider Relay” event to continue fundraising efforts for the Logan County Cancer Society. Cancer survivors and those currently battling cancer are invited to join a special lap dedicated to celebrating their courage and resilience. The event features solidarity, celebration, and community support. High school students showcase their talents during a Talent Show to raise funds.
Middle School Rally for a Cure
Benjamin Logan Middle School’s “Rally for a Cure” event takes place on May 14, 2024. The morning starts at 8:15 AM with a complimentary breakfast for cancer survivors and those currently living with cancer in the BLMS Commons. The event continues with a lap around the track to kick off the Rally for a Cure, showcasing the school’s commitment to supporting the fight against cancer. All students can participate in free games and activities throughout the day.

Tammy Gump, Chief Operating Officer of the Logan County Cancer Society, expressed heartfelt gratitude, saying, “Thank you very, very much for the ongoing support of Logan County Cancer Society. It’s amazing how much enthusiasm the staff and students at Benjamin Logan Schools display each year!”
