Nine Bellefontaine High School seniors have been awarded the Governor’s Merit Scholarship.
The top 5 percent of high school graduates qualify for up to $5,000 a year if they attend a college or university in Ohio.
The scholarship is renewable for up to 4 years. The money can be used for tuition, room and board, books, equipment, transportation, and fees.
The BHS recipients are Kylie Adams, Ryan Alexander, Taylor Banta, Nolan Core, Mia DeLong, Claire Grandstaff, Hunter Kerns, Graham Lotts, and Alexis Yoder.
Governor DeWine launched the scholarship program in December 2023.
