Brianna Brandyberry and Gavin Orsborne have been named Riverside High School’s August Seniors of the Month.
Brianna Brandyberry is the daughter of Tyler & Danielle Brandyberry.
School activities & awards: 4 Year Varsity Football and Basketball Cheerleader, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, Business Professionals of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Junior class officer, Honor roll.
If I were principal for a day: I would let students have time set aside during the day to go outside and walk the nature trail.
Favorite school memory: Freshman year in Mrs. Weadock’s class.
People who have been an inspiration to me include: My sister, Makayla. As well as my Mom and best friend, Kirstyn.
Lately, I have been reading: My Bible
My biggest regret: Being timid my first two years of high school and caring too much about other
people’s opinions.
Next year I will be: Attending college
Gavin Orsborne is the son of Jessica Mathison & Joshua Orsborne.
School activities & awards: Varsity football, basketball, baseball, NHS, NTHS, 2x BPA National Qualifier, and Honor Roll
If I were principal for a day: Have a pickleball tournament
Favorite school memory: Spending time with my friends at lunch laughing and having a good time.
People who have been an inspiration to me include: my dad, Coach Hodge, and Coach Woods
Lately, I have been reading: The Bible
My advice to parents: High School is tough so make sure you are always there for your child through the good and the bad.
My biggest regret: Worrying about things that ultimately don’t matter.
