Champaign County roadwork continues

Motorists traveling through Champaign County should continue to expect lane restrictions as several Ohio Department of Transportation paving projects remain underway.

State Route 55 between Old Troy Pike and U.S. 68 is intermittently reduced to one lane from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., with traffic maintained by flaggers while crews repave the roadway.

Similar lane restrictions remain in place on State Route 29 between State Route 235 and State Route 560 and on State Route 245 between Brush Lake Road and Gilbert Road.

Both projects feature intermittent single-lane traffic with flaggers from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. through September as paving work continues.

ODOT reminds drivers to slow down, use caution in work zones, and watch for workers and equipment while traveling through construction areas.
