A high-speed chase on US 33 Tuesday evening ended in a crash and the arrest of 18-year-old Jase Chambers from Marysville.
The Ohio Highway Patrol attempted to stop Chambers just after 5 PM for a traffic violation.
Instead of pulling over, Chambers fled, leading officers on a brief pursuit.
Chambers reached speeds of 125 MPH before exiting at County Road 10.
At the top of the ramp, he lost control of his gray sedan and crashed into the guardrail.
The crash caused County Road 10 to be temporarily closed while emergency crews responded.
Chambers was uninjured and was arrested at the scene.
He was cited for reckless operation, fleeing and eluding, resisting arrest, and obstructing official business.
Chambers was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
Logan County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted with the incident.
