Updated: County Roads to be Chip Sealed and Resurfaced

The Logan County Engineer’s Office announced that county forces will be chip-sealing the following roads beginning Wednesday, July 19, 2023, through Thursday, July 20, 2023, weather permitting.

These roads will be under construction between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. each day.

Emergency traffic and local traffic only will be maintained using flaggers (no through traffic). Expect delays or use alternate routes.

When traveling through these work areas, the Logan County Engineer’s office asks that you please slow down and use caution as there will be loose stone for a few days and unmarked no-passing zone until fall.

  • County Road 68, from Township Road 3 to State Route 706, July 19th
  • County Road 73, from Shelby County Line to County Road 34, July 19th
  • County Road 74, from Township Road 23 to County Road 34, July 20th

The Logan County Engineer’s Office announces that the Shelly Company will be resurfacing the following roads. The tentative starting date is Thursday, July 20, 2023, weather permitting.

These roads will be under construction between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. each day, but will remain open to emergency vehicles and local traffic only (no thru traffic).

When traveling through these work areas, you are asked that you please use caution as there are unmarked no-passing zones and drop-offs along the edge of the road.

Butt joints are cut at the intersections and bridges prior to paving and create a bump in the roadway, please slow down accordingly (15 mph or less).
