85-year-old Curtis Cox of DeGraff was arrested Friday after an investigation into an incident involving a dog.
According to a Logan County Sheriff’s Office report, deputies were called to a home on Miami Street in DeGraff around 5:30 PM.
The property owner told deputies he had security cameras in his garage and received an alert showing activity inside.
After reviewing the footage, he contacted law enforcement.
Deputies reported they reviewed the recordings and said they saw Cox engaging in what they described as inappropriate sexual contact with a dog.
After consulting with the Logan County Prosecutor’s Office, deputies placed Cox under arrest and transported him to the Logan County Jail.
Cox was lodged on a misdemeanor charge of sexual conduct with an animal.
