Dixon and Wahl Named Indian Lake November Seniors of the Month

The Indian Lake High School has announced that Kenzie Dixon and DanielWahl are the November Seniors of the Month.

 

Kenzie Dixon is the daughter of Todd and Jamie Dixon of Huntsville.

School Activities and awards: Softball, Basketball, Volleyball, Key Club, BPA, NHS

If I were principal for a day: I would have a two-hour delay.

Favorite school memory: My favorite memory is going to state for softball, getting runner up, and making school history as a team.

People who have been an inspiration to me include: My mom and dad have shaped me into the person I am today.

Lately, I’ve been reading: Lately, I have been reading a lot of books, but I’m enjoying The Catcher in the Rye at the moment.

My advice to parents: Support your kids and let them make their own mistakes, but be there for them when they do.

My biggest regret: I don’t have one yet. I’ve learned and grown from everything I have done.

Next year I will be: Going to an undecided college to become an Ultrasound Technician.

 

Daniel Wahl is the son of Mark and Michelle Wahl of Huntsville.

School Activities and awards: Meistersingers, Choir, Musical, Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Cross Country, Track, Key Club, SADD, Science Club, Student United Way, National Honor Society, 3.5 Honor Roll, Class Vice President

If I were principal for a day: I would have fun with it and give kids a free day, with volleyball and dodgeball.

Favorite school memory: My favorite memory is doing my first musical freshman year and really having fun with my role

People who have been an inspiration to me include: People who have been an inspiration to me are my parents, my siblings- especially Rachel, Coach Metzger, Mrs. Notestine, and the Wickline family.

Lately, I’ve been reading: Percy Jackson

My advice to parents: Let your child do as much as they want throughout school. My biggest regret: I regret not getting another personal record in Cross Country since my freshman year.

Next year I will be: Pursuing an undecided college in either Human Resources or Music of some kind.
