Bellefontaine’s First Church of God is opening its doors on Wednesday, December 11, as an Emergency Warming Center for the homeless and less fortunate. Intake is from 6 – 8 pm.
The shelter will need to be vacated by 6 am due to childcare operations at the church.
Warming Centers are activated when overnight temperatures are expected to reach below 20 degrees.
Local temperatures tonight in Bellefontaine are expected to reach a low of 12 degrees.
