The Logan County Agricultural Society met in its last regular meeting before the Logan County Fair, Wednesday evening.
A midst several last-minute details, the fair board announced they will be installing a new sign at the South Main Street Entrance of the fairgrounds. Mary Rutan Health is the sponsor of the project, throwing in one-half of the cost, $40,000. The Logan County Commissioners threw in another $27,000 to the project. Commissioner Joe Antram had these comments about the donation:
The sign project has a total cost of $80,000 and is being led by Signs Ohio of Lima. The new sign will be up and operational sometime this fall. The project does require some fence relocation and removal of the remains of the old sign.
Open Class entries are being accepted through June 17th, and will not be accepted after that date. The public is encouraged to come and get involved,

Friday, season fair passes are set to go on sale. They are $25 and are available for purchase online at https://www.locofair.org/.
General admission rates for the 2023 fair are:
- SUNDAY $8 *Veterans Free
- MONDAY $5
- TUESDAY $5 *Senior Citizens Free
- WEDNESDAY $5
- THURSDAY $5 * Kids Day Free (One child under 16 is free with one paying adult. Until 4:00 pm, No re-entry)
- FRIDAY $8
- SATURDAY $8
Saturday, June 24th, a rummage sale and food truck rally will be held at the fairgrounds from 9 AM to 5 PM.
