The Logan County Farm Bureau is thrilled to announce that applications for the 2024 Logan County Agriculture Impact Fund grants are now open. Funded by proceeds from the annual Agriculture Impact Fund Reverse Raffle event, this grant program aims to enhance agricultural initiatives and foster youth development within the county.

The Agriculture Impact Fund supports projects and events designed to broaden agriculture’s presence in Logan County while promoting the growth and engagement of young people in the agricultural sector. Grants are available to any organization, classroom, or program that contributes to the enrichment of youth involved in agriculture. To qualify, projects must have a minimum budget of $500 and must be completed by November 30, 2025. Applications will be evaluated on a competitive basis.

In addition to the main grant program, the Farm Bureau is excited to announce the expansion of its mini-grant program this fall. This initiative targets organizations, classrooms, and clubs that focus on teaching agricultural concepts and fostering youth development. Mini-grants, capped at $500, will be awarded to four selected projects during this cycle.

Important Dates for Grant Applications:

  • Grant Application Deadline: November 1, 2024
  • Mini-Grant Application Deadline: November 15, 2024
  • Notification of Award: All grant recipients will be informed by December 1, 2024.

The Farm Bureau encourages the community to share this opportunity widely among organizations and schools to foster a diverse range of innovative applications. Over the past seven years, the program has awarded more than $65,000 to support agricultural projects in Logan County.
