HomeLocal NewsFrey Set to Perform at Holland TheaterFrey Set to Perform at Holland TheaterThu, November 16, 2023 by April KingSHARE NOW Kylie Frey and her band will take the stage Thursday evening at the Holland Theater.Fresh from her appearance on America’s Got Talent, Kylie has had seven number-ones on the country music charts.Frey is a third-generation rodeo girl and Louisiana state goat-tying champion – and a rising star as genuine as her blue jeans.Sincere in her convictions and too real to dismiss, even for ardent country haters, her sound both typifies and transcends the genre.Bellefontaine native, Jesse Jervis, has been playing bass guitar in Frey’s band since April of 2022.Jervis comes from a family full of musicians and says that he is lucky to have the support of his family. “Being away from my family is a little easier with technology (like Facetime), but there is still nothing like coming home to my wife and kids.
