Harlan Wins Supreme Ram at Champaign County Fair

Monday was sheep day at the Champaign County Fair in Urbana.

More than 50 of the county’s best young men and women gathered at the main show arena to show their lambs and impress the judge.

When all was said and done, WPKO’s very own Allison Harlan and her group of friends, lovingly called the Dorper Gang after the breed of sheep they raise, not only took Supreme Ram but also claimed Champion Breeding Flock.

Congratulations go out to all three members of the gang… Alli, who is leaving soon to study Communications at the University of Alabama, and Sophia Pullins and Ashton Waller, who are both juniors at Mechanicsburg High School.
