A 42-year-old man was arrested Saturday night after a domestic violence incident at a Logan County residence.
According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched around 9 p.m. to a home on Township Road 86 for a reported physical altercation between two men living at the residence.
Deputies said the male victim reported that 42-year-old Brian Hill got in his face and drew back his fist as if he was going to strike him.
The victim told deputies he pushed Hill away before Hill allegedly charged at him and began swinging his fists.
During the altercation, both men reportedly fell to the floor fighting, and the victim suffered a broken pinky finger.
Deputies separated the two men while investigating the incident.
According to the report, Hill claimed he had been pushed first and struck in the face, but did not provide additional details.
Deputies have responded to the home multiple times in the past due to Hill’s behavior.
Hill was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Logan County Jail, where he was lodged on a domestic violence charge.
