Thursday morning, Benjamin Logan High School was filled with joy and music as hundreds of grandparents attended the highly anticipated Grandparent Holiday Sing-A-Long, a beloved tradition featuring the sweet voices of K-4 students.
This event, reserved exclusively for grandparents, has grown in attendance over the past three years, making it a cherished highlight of the holiday season.
The Benjamin Logan Elementary School PTC went above and beyond, providing delicious breakfast treats and beverages to warmly welcome guests.
The entire elementary staff worked together to ensure the event’s success, offering support in countless ways.
Board member Karen Dill reflected on the event, saying: “It was a superb event that Benjamin Logan can be extremely proud of. It is a great day to be a Raider! I graduated from BL, my career was at BL, my kids graduated from BL, and now my grandkids attend BL. I have never been more proud of our district than I am today!”
Community member Lori Young also shared her heartfelt appreciation: “Today’s program was wonderful, well-done, and heartwarming. Mr. Young does a fabulous job with the students. Thank you to him, all of the kids (who were well-dressed and adorable), and to all of the staff who gave so much support. It was run like a well-oiled clock. Silent Night brought tears to my eyes and my grandparent partner’s eyes. Thank you, and Happy Holidays to all!”
