The Indian Lake Eagles Aerie #3615 made a generous contribution to the Indian Lake Tornado Relief Fund this week, presenting a check for $21,046.50 to the United Way. The funds, raised through a series of benefit concerts and events held throughout the spring and summer, will support ongoing recovery efforts in the wake of the recent tornado.

A highlight of the fundraising efforts was a benefit concert featuring Nashville-based recording artist Leah Crose on April 5, which alone raised over $11,000. The success of the event was largely attributed to Gianna England, Secretary of the Eagles Auxiliary, who played a pivotal role in organizing and executing the fundraiser.

The funds donated to the Indian Lake Tornado Relief Fund since June are being utilized by the Logan County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) for long-term recovery efforts. Currently, 83 affected families are receiving support through the long-term recovery committee, which convenes weekly to review and address individual needs.

For those still in need of assistance, please contact the recovery committee at (937) 450-0404.
