Local students honored on Wall of Fame

Local students were honored on the Wall of Fame at Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken in Bellefontaine Tuesday evening.

The wall hosts up to six local Bellefontaine City School students and Calvary Christian students each quarter of the school year.

Each school was asked to select one student and provide a summary of why the student was chosen.

Their photo and the summary now hang in the restaurant on the Wall of Fame.

They were each selected for their leadership, selfless service to others, and dedication to making the community better.

Bellefontaine Elementary: Niko Urban

  • Second-grader Niko Urban is an outstanding student who consistently demonstrates positive behavior, academic readiness, and respect toward others. He brings an infectious energy to class and always has a smile on his face, making the classroom environment better for everyone. Niko is a true leader.

Bellefontaine Intermediate: Mason Rutherford

  • Mason Rutherford’s respect for peers and staff, along with his kindness and integrity, set a wonderful example for others. Mason goes above and beyond, whether it’s offering help to others or simply brightening the room with his positive attitude. His maturity and compassion make him an exceptional young person.

Bellefontaine Middle: Eliza Wage

  • Eliza Wage is a hardworking and dedicated student who always strives for academic excellence. She asks for clarification when needed and is always willing to help her classmates. Eliza maintains a positive attitude and a smile every day, supporting her peers with kindness and compassion. Her thoughtful nature and work ethic make her a truly remarkable student.

Bellefontaine High School: Vanshika Shah

  • Vanshika Shah is a mature and focused student who consistently demonstrates respect and willingness to help others. She is dedicated to her goals and advocates for herself and her peers. Vanshika brings positivity and a strong work ethic to Bellefontaine High School, and her contributions to the school and community are greatly appreciated.

Calvary 4-8th Grade: Madelyn Carter

  • Eighth-grader Madelyn Carter is recognized for her dedication, strong work ethic, and passion for learning. Madelyn actively participates in class, helps her peers, and excels academically. Her leadership and positive attitude inspire others to do their best.

Calvary High School: Daniel Young

  • Senior Daniel Young has demonstrated integrity and leadership throughout his time at Calvary High School. His calm and respectful demeanor, along with his willingness to mentor underclassmen and contribute to school activities, make him a role model for his peers. Daniel’s commitment to integrity, compassion, and community service makes him a true school representative.
