Logan County Chamber Holds Annual Business Meeting

The Logan County Chamber of Commerce held their annual Business Meeting today in Bellefontaine. During the affair, Chamber President Ben Vollrath spoke of the difficult year 2024 has been and the promising future for the region.

The Chamber approved revisions in the long-term investment policy and procedures, handing more control over chamber investments to the finance committee. They approved next year’s budget and updated ByLaws and regulations to make the daily operations of the chamber more efficient. Staff are now able to send notifications electronically, the board secretary can now designate someone to take minutes during the meetings, and the treasurer role now allows the Chamber accountant to fulfill the treasurer position indefinitely without being formally on the board.

The Chamber thanked retiring members of the board for their service this past year and welcomed new members in their place. Retiring are: Krista Adelsberger (3 years), Justin Dinovo (Past Chair – 6 years), Lindsey McGlone (3 years), Julie Schrader (Past chair – 6 years), Tim Street (3 years), and Monica Hurst (VB Chair and past Indian Lake Liaison – 3 years)

Approved incoming Board members include: Ann Stanley (Royce Industries), Abby Wolf (Citizens Federal), Ryan Smith (Logan County Electric Cooperative), Jeremy LeVan (LeVan Excavating), Chad Hoffman (Richwood Bank), and JD Harshfield (Ohio Caverns – Visitors Bureau Chair).

Newly approved officers are: Luke Skidmore (Chair), Rob Underwood (Vice Chair), John Belser (Treasurer), Kay Spath (Secretary), and David Willoby (Past Chair).
