The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 7 has announced a series of construction projects scheduled to impact state highways across Logan County in the coming weeks and months.
All work is weather permitting.

CONTINUING IMPACTS
Several long-term roadway projects remain underway, with lane restrictions and flagging operations in place during daytime hours.
State Route 117 Lane Restrictions
State Route 117 between the Hardin/Logan County Line and State Route 274 will continue to be reduced to a single lane from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through August 2026. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers as crews complete roadway repaving.
State Route 245 Lane Restrictions
State Route 245 between the Mad River east of West Liberty and the Champaign/Logan County Line will also be reduced to one lane from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through August 2026. Repaving work is ongoing.
State Route 287 Lane Restrictions
State Route 287 between State Route 245 and U.S. 33 will experience intermittent single-lane closures from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through August for resurfacing operations.
State Route 638 Lane Restrictions
State Route 638 between U.S. 68 and Township Road 51 will be reduced to one lane during daytime hours from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through August as paving continues.
County Road 55 Bridge Closure
The bridge on County Road 55 over U.S. 33 will be closed for approximately 30 days beginning Wednesday, April 15. Crews will be replacing bridge joints.
Detour: County Road 55 to CR 10.
U.S. 33 Lane Restrictions
U.S. 33 will also be reduced to a single lane near the County Road 55 bridge from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through mid-May 2026. Work includes bridge joint replacement overhead.

Additional projects are scheduled to begin later this spring and summer.
State Route 235 Lane Restrictions
Beginning Monday, May 4, through July 2025, State Route 235 between State Route 720 and the Hardin/Logan County Line will be reduced to one lane from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. for resurfacing work.
State Route 274 Lane Restrictions
State Route 274 between the Rushsylvania corporation limits and State Route 273 will also see single-lane traffic from May 4 through July 2025 during daytime hours as crews complete repaving.
State Route 366 Lane Restrictions
State Route 366 between State Route 235 and U.S. 33 will be reduced to one lane from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. beginning May 4 through July 2025 for roadway improvements.
State Route 366 Closure – Lakeview Festival
State Route 366 in the Village of Lakeview will be closed for a local festival from Saturday, August 22, through Sunday, August 23. Motorists should follow all posted detours during the closure.
