McClintick continues championship run with overall market goat title

The Market Goat Show featured a deep lineup of quality exhibitors Thursday at the 2026 Logan County Junior Fair, with competitors vying for division championships before returning to the ring for the overall drive.

When the final champions were selected, the McClintick family once again found themselves in the spotlight. Dalton McClintick captured Overall Grand Champion honors after first winning the Middleweight Division, continuing the family’s tradition of success in the market goat show ring.

Dalton explains his emotions standing on the podium back-to-back days and how his winning goat has been one of his biggest projects.

Fellow McClintick exhibitor Savannah McClintick also enjoyed a strong show, placing second in Class 8, further showcasing the family’s consistently competitive livestock program.

Stevie Tracey earned Overall Reserve Grand Champion after winning the final class of the Middleweight Division, while Kayla Tracey claimed third overall after topping the Heavyweight Division. Jaidyn Jackson finished fourth overall, and Lightweight Division champion Adaline Karg rounded out the overall top five.

The results highlighted another competitive year for Logan County’s market goat exhibitors, with champions emerging from all three weight divisions before meeting in the championship drive.
