BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio – Ohio Hi-Point Career Center’s Top 15 graduating seniors and honored educators were celebrated during OHP’s Top 15 Seniors Honored Educator Recognition Ceremony on Wednesday, May 1.
The annual event is an opportunity for the top seniors to select and recognize an educator who impacted and influenced their educational careers. Before the ceremony, students, educators, and families enjoyed desserts and refreshments. Anna Brodman (Criminal Justice, Waynesfield-Goshen) led the Pledge of Allegiance.
The following students and educators were recognized during the ceremony:
- Keianna Notestine, Esthetics (Riverside), honored Cindy Harlan, OHP Esthetics Instructor.
- Bella Hoffman, Graphic and Media Arts (Kenton) honored Justin Rigsby, OHP/Kenton Instructor.
- Brielle Cotterman, Exercise Science (Upper Scioto Valley), honored Heather Smith, OHP Exercise Science Instructor.
- Kaitlynn Gregg, Exercise Science (Triad), honored Heather Smith, OHP Exercise Science Instructor.
- Kelsey Bushong, Education Academy (Kenton), honored Ryan Gilbert, OHP English Instructor.
- Carly Goodman, Graphic and Media Arts (Triad) honored Leslie Bradley, OHP Science Instructor.
- Amelia Hurley, Health Careers Academy (Upper Scioto Valley), honored Megan Lacher, OHP Health Careers Academy Instructor.
- Elliot Norris, Graphic and Media Arts (Indian Lake) honored Hannah McKinney, OHP Social Studies Instructor.
- Allison Harlan, Graphic and Media Arts (Triad) honored Cindy Harlan, Mom & Mentor.
- Anna Brodman, Criminal Justice (Waynesfield-Goshen), honored Rick Jordan, OHP Criminal Justice Instructor.
- Zander Fahnestock, Graphic and Media Arts (West Liberty-Salem) honored Ryan Gilbert, OHP English Instructor.
- Alexis Helms, Animal Science (West Liberty-Salem), honored Kyle Rose, OHP Science Instructor.
- Daniel Seaman, Exercise Science (Triad), honored Joseph Cardinal, Northeastern Schools Instructor.
- Haylee Rutherford, Cosmetology (Bellefontaine), honored Ginger Shellenberger, OHP Cosmetology Instructor.
- Savannah Peake, Health Careers Academy (Marysville), honored Bryan Knurek, OHP English Instructor.
