The Village of Russells Point is alerting residents to upcoming paving work tied to its stormwater drainage project, with traffic delays expected in several areas.
Officials say Helms & Sons Excavating will begin paving work on Tuesday, April 28, with crews working daily from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., weather permitting.
While roads will remain open, drivers should plan for delays and are encouraged to avoid the area if possible.
Access to homes and driveways will be maintained throughout the project.
The paving work will take place on the following roadways:
- North Orchard Island Road between East Main Street and Mansfield Street
- Burkhart Avenue between East Main Street and Mansfield Street
- Warren Avenue between East Main Street and Mansfield Street
- Clermont Avenue between East Main Street and Mansfield Street
- Mansfield Street between Burkhart Avenue and Clermont Avenue
Village officials say the work is part of ongoing improvements to the stormwater drainage system aimed at reducing flooding and improving infrastructure.
