Organizers of Pineapple Palooza have announced that the event has been postponed due to the forecasted risk of high winds and lightning.
The event had been scheduled for this Saturday in Downtown Bellefontaine and was set to feature a zip line, bounce houses, vendors, live entertainment, and other family-friendly activities.
Officials said the decision to postpone was made with the safety of the downtown community, event participants, and visitors as the top priority.
The popular downtown celebration will now take place on Saturday, July 25.
According to organizers, the later date was selected to help ensure the event can still deliver the same level of energy, attendance, and overall experience that attendees have come to expect.
The additional time is also expected to help secure participation from key vendors and attractions, including live bands and the event’s zipline.
Organizers thank the community for its understanding and support and said they look forward to bringing a vibrant and successful Pineapple Palooza to Downtown Bellefontaine later this summer.
