Friday evening, Benjamin Logan High School celebrated the Class of 2026 as 141 seniors received diplomas during the school’s 56th annual commencement ceremony.
The evening featured inspiring remarks from Principal Mrs. Annette Ramga-Alatorre, recognition of student achievement, musical performances by senior choir members, and reflections from co-valedictorians Winifred Bodin, Rylan Norviel, and Greyson Wagoner.
Each student speaker shared meaningful messages with their classmates:
- Winifred Bodin encouraged graduates to embrace the paths they choose and pursue life with courage and purpose, reminding classmates, “Success is not about having every door open forever, but about having the courage to finally walk through one.”
- Greyson Wagoner reflected on the importance of slowing down, embracing quiet moments, and caring for both the mind and soul, sharing, “Find comfort in the quiet moments.”
- Rylan Norviel challenged classmates to overcome the fear of change and welcome new opportunities with confidence, encouraging graduates to, “Try something new; you never know if you might find your new favorite dish.”
The ceremony also honored the class’s outstanding academic achievement, including:

- 4th Place (tie): Kaidyn Green and Annika Chappell
- 6th Place: Tyler Shoopman
- 7th Place: Scarlett Elliott

- 10th Place: Josey Queen
Diplomas were presented by Assistant Principal Mr. Jeff Fay and Board of Education President Mr. Mark Himmeger, while Superintendent Mr. John Scheu officially accepted the graduating class.
Winnie Bodin, senior class president, concluded the ceremony with the traditional moving of the tassel. The class motto is: “We didn’t come this far just to come this far.”
