Three Urbana FFA alumni were recognized Saturday morning at the National FFA Convention, earning one of the organization’s highest honors.

Sam Wilhelm, Kianna Gsell and Bryce Stambaugh each received the American FFA Degree, an honor awarded to fewer than two percent of FFA members nationwide.

The degree recognizes members for their leadership, community involvement, and dedication to agricultural education through their supervised agricultural experiences. Recipients must meet rigorous requirements that reflect years of hard work and commitment to the FFA program.

Urbana City Schools congratulated Wilhelm, Gsell, and Stambaugh on their achievement and their contributions to the Urbana FFA program.
