Brian Hogan, superintendent of Ridgemont Local Schools reports that the Ridgemont Board of Education met in regular session Wednesday evening.
The winter sports teams are heading into tournaments.
They wish them the best of luck, more information is available in their Athletic Director’s report in the agenda.
Principal’s reports are also included in the agenda so that parents are aware of the curriculum information and events their children will be participating in.
The district received a huge number of donations recently and greatly appreciates the community support.
The upcoming school calendar includes:
- Monday, February 19 – No School – Presidents Day
- Monday, March 11 – No School – Teacher Professional Development
- Thursday, March 21 – K-5 Parent Teacher Conferences in the Evening
- Tuesday, March 26 – No School K-5 Students – Parent Teacher Conf. am
- Wednesday, March 27 to Monday, April 1 – No School – Easter Break
- Tuesday, April 2 – School Back in Session
- Monday, April 8 – No School – Total Solar Eclipse
- Wednesday, May 22 – Last Day of School
- Friday, May 31 – Senior Graduation – 7:00 pm Mt. Victory Gym
