Riverside Local Schools held their Junior High Spelling Bee on Thursday morning.
After 13 challenging rounds, Maria Wick was named the champion by correctly spelling “ointment.”
Samuel Jackson claimed the runner-up position.
Both students will represent Riverside in the Logan County Spelling Bee at the Holland Theatre on January 14th at 6 p.m.
