The Logan County Engineer’s Office recently announced that county forces will be chip sealing several county roads beginning today (Tuesday, July 12) and the work will run through Thursday, July 14, weather permitting.
The roads to be chip sealed are:
County Road 271 from County Road 296 to State Route 292 7/12 (Tuesday)
County Road 291 from Valley Hi to County Road 28 7/12 (Tuesday)
County Road 10 from County Road 55 to US 33 7/13 (Wednesday)
County Road 10 from US 33 to the Zanesfield Corp. West 7/13 (Wednesday)
County Road 10 from the Zanesfield Corp. East to Kirkmont Center 7/14 (Thursday)
These roads will be under construction between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day. Emergency traffic and local traffic only will be maintained using flaggers (no thru traffic). Expect delays or use alternate routes.
When traveling through these work areas, we ask that you please slow down and use caution as there will be loose stone for a few days and unmarked no-passing zone until fall.
All scheduling is subject to weather conditions. The engineer’s office appreciates your cooperation during the construction and apologizes for any inconvenience.
