Triad High School celebrated the Class of 2026 during commencement ceremonies held Sunday afternoon. Graduation ceremonies were scheduled from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at the football field.
The Class of 2026 was recognized for its academic achievements, leadership, perseverance, and involvement throughout their high school careers. Graduates were honored alongside family members, friends, faculty, and community supporters as they marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.
Triad Superintendent Vickie Maruniak reflected on the graduating class and the impact students made during their time at the school.
“The Triad Class of 2026 impressed me every day with their intelligence, dedication, and drive to succeed. Beyond their accomplishments, they consistently showed kindness, compassion, and support for others, which spoke volumes about who they were as people. I was incredibly proud of this group of students and truly honored to be their superintendent. I looked forward to seeing all they do in the future!”
Class President Zayden Williams also shared a message about the determination and work ethic displayed by the graduating class.
“The Class of 2026 showed what it meant to be resilient, pushing through every challenge with determination and heart. I think of the quote, ‘Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard.’ We might not have had the opportunities or abilities other schools have, but we attacked every challenge head on and with pride.”
Students recognized in the top 10 percent of the graduating class included Gavyn Heitman, Gracie Goehring, Riley Haser, and Jenna Jones.
Zayden Williams was recognized for entering military service following graduation.
Several members of the Class of 2026 were also recognized for earning scholarships and academic honors.
