Update: Another Crash at Hazardous Intersection Near Huntsville

The Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating a two-car minor injury crash. The crash occurred at approximately 2:15 PM at the intersection of US 33 and CR 57.

A 2020 Ram Pick-up truck operated by Robert D. Karg, age 83, of Bellefontaine, was attempting to cross over US 33. Mr. Karg pulled into the path of a 2000 Honda Odyssey that was traveling West bound on US 33. The Odyssey was being operated by Mr. Nicolas Echeverria, age 69, of Belle Center.

All occupants reported very minor injuries and refused medical attention.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Logan County Sherriff’s Office and Wren’s Towing.

Alcohol is not suspected to be a factor in the crash and all occupants were found to be wearing their seat belts.

The Patrol reminds motorists to look both directions prior to attempting to cross an intersection.
