A two-vehicle crash slowed traffic on U.S. 33 Friday morning.
According to reports released Monday from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 10:20 a.m. when a 2026 GMC Terrain operated by Rebecca Ellis of Wabash, Indiana, was stopped for traffic while traveling eastbound on U.S. 33.
A 2007 Chevrolet Silverado driven by William Asman of Lakeview struck the rear of the Terrain.
Asman was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
Both vehicles sustained functional damage.
Ellis was checked for injuries at the scene by Huntsville EMS.
