Ann Kress, 54, of Ridgeway, was arrested on OVI charges after a traffic stop early Saturday morning.

Officers spotted a blue Jeep weaving between lanes while traveling south on South Main Street shortly after 1:00 a.m.

The Jeep crossed lane markings before pulling into the Edward Jones parking lot.

During the stop, officers noticed the smell of alcoholic beverages and reported that Kress showed several signs of impairment.

She then failed several field sobriety tests and was arrested for OVI and taken to the Bellefontaine Police Department for a breath test.

Her breath test showed a blood alcohol concentration of .140, above Ohio’s legal limit of .08.

Kress was charged with OVI and given a marked lanes violation.

She was released to a sober driver and is scheduled to appear in Bellefontaine Municipal Court.

Her Jeep was towed from the scene.
