Bellefontaine Battles Jonathan Alder

It was a true team effort when the Chiefs won over host Jonathan Alder 21-25, 25-23, 18-25, 25-21 & 16-14.

The Chiefs fought hard all night and pushed out a come-from-behind win in the fourth set to force the 5th deciding set.

• Ava Reeves led the team defensively with 36 digs (career high)
• Kelsie Snapp added 31 digs (career high), 20 kills, and 3 blocks and was 20/20 serving
• Taylor Banta chipped in with 20 kills, 18 digs (career high) and was also 20/20 serving
• Ava Campbell added 6 kills and a block
• Kylie Adams tallied 7 kills
• Madi Zedeker recorded 56 assists (career high), 9 digs, and was 13/13 serving
• Reagan Standley had 9 digs and was 16/16 serving with an Ace. Ava Layman added 5 kills

The JV Red Chiefs fell short 11-25 & 3-25.

• Presley Vigansky had 5 digs, 3 assists, and perfect serving
• Kaeleigh Flora added 4 digs and 2 kills
• Zoey Conner chipped in with 3 kills
• Kylee Bogss had 2 assists and was 4/4 serving

The JV Black Chiefs also fell to host Jonathan Alder but not after a hard-fought battle in set 2.

The Chiefs lost 13-25, 23-25.
