Bellefontaine boys tennis sweeps Kenton Ridge

The Bellefontaine boys tennis team continued its strong season with a 5-0 sweep over Kenton Ridge, improving to a perfect 5-0 in CBC play and 7-2 overall.

The match was highlighted by a pair of hard-fought three-set battles in singles. At first singles, M. Fissel outlasted Deal in a marathon match, 7-5, 5-7, 7-5, while Phillips showed resilience at second singles, bouncing back after dropping the first set to win 4-6, 6-2, 10-8. H. Fissel added a more straightforward victory at third singles, winning 6-2, 6-3 to complete the singles sweep.

Bellefontaine carried that momentum into doubles play. The first doubles team of Young and Lots controlled their match from the start, earning a dominant 6-3, 6-0 win. At second doubles, Howard and Lloyd secured the shutout with a solid 6-3, 6-2 victory.

With depth across both singles and doubles, the Chieftains remain unbeaten in conference play and continue to build momentum as the season progresses.
