The Bellefontaine girls tennis team fell to Sidney 3-2 Thursday.
The Chieftains picked up their two wins in doubles play. Mia Brown and Rylee Crabtree defeated Cooper and White 6-0, 6-0 at first doubles, while Oriana Vasquez and Isabella Barton defeated Long and Cooper 6-1, 6-0 at second doubles.
At first singles, Olivia Warye fell to Spade 3-6, 0-6. Sophia Pulfer dropped her second singles match to Echols 5-7, 4-6, while Nahla Arruza fell to Ervin 2-6, 3-6 at third singles.
Bellefontaine will compete next Monday at the Division II Sectional Tournament at Troy.
