Ben Logan Boys Bowling Places 6th in D2 State Tournament

The Ben Logan Boys Varsity Bowling Team traveled to HP Bowling Lanes in Columbus to compete in the D2 State Tournament on Friday, March 1.

The 16 D2 teams bowled 3 conventional games and 3 baker games with the top 8 teams advancing to the Championship brackets.

Leading the Raiders today was Jarrett Buckenroth with games of 204, 175, 254 – 633 series, Caleb Knight with games of 222, 212, 195 – 629 series, Landon Stoodt with games of 167, 192, 232 – 591 series and Nate Davis with games of 192, 200, 185 – 577 series.

We had 2 bowlers make the All-Ohio Team:

  1. 2nd Team All Ohio – Jarrett Buckenroth with his 633 series
  2. Honorable Mention All Ohio – Caleb Knight with his 629 series

Ben Logan finished with a total pinfall of 3562 to capture 2nd place in the OHSAA D2 State Championship qualifying round out of 16 teams.

In the Championship Bracket, Ben Logan fell to the Warren Champions in 3 out of 4 Baker games.

Ben Logan finished 6th out of 213 D2 schools.

This was the final match of the year for the Ben Logan Raiders.
