Ben Logan boys bowling team advances to State

The Ben Logan Boys Bowling Team is heading to the State Bowling Tournament after finishing in 3rd place out of 24 teams at the Beaver-Vu Bowl, with a total pinfall of 4228.

The top 4 teams advanced, marking Ben Logan’s second consecutive year qualifying for the State Tournament.

In the 3 conventional games, the Raiders recorded a total score of 3131, with games of 1059, 989, and 1083.

Leading the team was Nate Davis, who had an outstanding 655 series, rolling games of 213, 186, and 256.

Davis narrowly missed making the All-Tournament team by just 2 pins.

Landon Stoodt followed closely with a 649 series on games of 202, 235, and 212.

Caleb Knight rolled a 625 series (192, 224, 209), while Dylan Stewart contributed with a 616 series (220, 194, 202).

Jarrett Buckenroth added a 586 series (232, 150, 204).

The Raiders also scored 1097 in the 6 baker games.

Next up, the Raiders will compete in the State Tournament on Saturday, March 1, at HP Lanes in Columbus.

Doors open at 9:00 AM, with the qualifying round starting at 10:45 AM.
