The Ben Logan Varsity Boys Bowling team traveled to Heath, Ohio, to participate in the Muskingum University High School Invitational on Saturday.
The team finished 4th out of 18 teams in the qualifying round which consisted of 3 conventional games and 3 baker games.
Leading the Raiders in the three qualifying conventional games was:
- Jarrett Buckenroth had games of 204, 228, and 197 for a 629 series (Jarrett just missed making the All-Tournament Team by 1 place – they recognize the top 5 bowlers – Jarrett finished 6th)
- Caleb Knight rolled games of 165, 159, and 215 for a 539 series
- Landon Stoodt had games of 182, 188, and 158 for a 528 series
- Nate Davis rolled games of 156, 191, and 167 for a 514 series
In the Championship round, it was best 2 out of 3 baker games to advance.
Ben Logan bested Indian Valley 2 out of 3.
Next, the Raiders took on top-seeded Centerville and beat them in 2 straight games.
In the Championship Finals, Benjamin Logan took on second-seeded Perry and bested them in 3 hard-fought games that went to the 10th frame of the last game.
With the win against Perry, it made Ben Logan the tournament Champions.
This is Ben Logan’s first tournament victory.
