On Wednesday night, the Benjamin Logan Lady Raiders secured a hard-fought 10-9 win over North Union in a thrilling softball matchup.
The bottom of the lineup played a pivotal role in the team’s success, contributing key hits and runs to seal the victory.
Kylie Harner, Lilly Kerns, and Bryleigh Burnside were instrumental in the offensive attack, collectively combining for six of the team’s 13 hits.
The trio drove in three runs and scored four.
Burnside led the charge with a stellar 3-for-4 performance, which included a double and an RBI.
Kerns also shined, going 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
Harner added a double and drove in an RBI, rounding out a dominant performance from the bottom of the order.
Chloe Crumm provided further support, contributing two doubles and driving in three runs.
Rylan Norviel had two hits, including a double, and added an RBI.
Keeli Rostorfer also doubled and drove in a run, while Tanna Jacobs added another hit to the offensive tally.
In the circle, Adilynne Gregg was the winning pitcher, throwing three and two-thirds innings, allowing just one hit, no runs, and striking out four batters.
Chloe Crumm also made a strong appearance, pitching three and one-third innings and striking out four.
