Indian Lake Dominates Thurgood Marshall in Tournament Match

The Indian Lake Lakers showcased their exceptional talent on Thursday, advancing in tournament play with a commanding victory over Thurgood Marshall, winning in straight sets: 25-3, 25-11, 25-3.

Leading the charge for the Lakers was Halle Roby, who delivered an outstanding performance, finishing 34/37 serving with 15 ace serves.

In addition to her serving prowess, she contributed significantly in play with 6/6 hitting, recording 4 kills and providing 10 assists.

Kenzie Dixon was another key player, achieving 11/13 hitting with 9 kills, while Courtney Altstaetter also made her mark, going 9/10 hitting with 7 kills.

The team’s serving skills were on full display, with Annie Rapp going 7/7 serving and racking up 6 aces, and Cami Bailey following closely with 7/8 serving and 4 aces.

Brynna Avila and Cambrie Warnecke added to the serving success, both finishing perfect on the day with multiple aces.

With this win, Indian Lake improves their record to 21-3.

They are set to face Mercy McAuley in the District Finals on Saturday at 5:00 PM, where they aim to continue their impressive tournament run.
