The Lady Chiefs tennis team kicked off their season with a competitive match against Huber Heights Wayne on Wednesday night, ultimately falling 2-3.
The match served as a valuable test for the young Chiefs squad.
Singles Results:
- 1st Singles: Heidi Kennard defeated Arissa Carver with a decisive 6-2, 6-0.
- 2nd Singles: Geneva Price emerged victorious over Harley Neer with a score of 6-3, 6-3.
- 3rd Singles: Shelby Miller won against Addison Prosser 6-4, 6-1.
Doubles Results:
- 1st Doubles: Ava Dolan and Olivia Warye Pinkerton fell to Galloway and Miller in a tight match, 7-6 (7-3), 6-2.
- 2nd Doubles: Emma Merrin and Adison Postle were defeated by Cardona and Wolum 6-1, 6-0.
The Lady Chiefs demonstrated strong performances in their singles matches and in the doubles games, showcasing their potential for the season.
