Laker Ladies Take First at Piqua Invitational

The Indian Lake girl’s track team finished first at the Piqua Invitational on Friday night.

The Lakers scored 147 points, Batavia had 129, and Urbana 107.

Placing first for Indian Lake was Addison Beck in the 200 m dash (28.26) and long jump (15-6.25), and Ava Faler in the pole vault (7-6).

Placing second was the 4×800 relay (10:54), the 4×400 relay (4:34), Beck in the 100 m dash (13.77), Reagan Rash in the 400 m dash (1:04), Faler in the high jump (4-8), and Maddie Miller in the discus (107-0.25) and shot put (33-9)

Placing third was Hannah Metzger in the 3200 m run (13:40), Beck in the high jump (4-6), and Faler in the long jump (15-0)

The boy’s team scores were Piqua 148, Batavia 129, and Indian Lake was third with 103.

Placing first was Christopher Timms in the discus (135-8).

Placing second was Timms in the shot put (42-7.5), the 4×200 relay (1:39), the 4×100 relay (46.30), and Quest Clay in the long jump (20-2.25).

Placing third was Quest Clay in the 100 m dash (11.7), Gavin Henry in the 300 hurdles (45.80), and 4×400 relay (3:39).

Indian Lake races next Thursday at Miami East.
