Benjamin Logan traveled to North Union for the Don Wasserbeck Classic and came away with a runner-up team finish.

Bellefontaine’s High School Wrestling Team competed at the Miami Trace McDonald’s Invitational on Saturday.
The Chieftains took 8th out of 20 teams and had eight placers in the top six!

Bellefontaine takes a short break from competition and returns to the mat Wednesday, Jan. 31st when the Chiefs host the Battle of Route 68 Dual against Urbana.
The Laker Men’s Wrestling team traveled to Clyde High School on Saturday.
The Lakers finished in 6th at the 20-team event with several Lakers making their way to the podium.
Leading the team was 190lbs Owen Pummel, going 3-1 and finishing as runner-up.
Claiming 3rd place were Keshawn Blackwell, 120lbs going 4-1, and Jackson Young, 165lbs going 4-1.
Other Laker placers were HWT Dylan Valerio 5th going 5-2, 6th Gavin Henry 132lbs going 2-3, 6th 138lbs Draden Stevenson going 4-1, 6th 144lbs Tony Cummins going 2-3, and 6th 150lbs Czar Dickson going 2-0.
Also picking up some critical wins for the team and adding to the Laker’s team score were 126lbs Silas Holbrook going 1-2, 175lbs Ryan Culp going 1-2, 190lbs Tristan Shoffner going 2-2, 215lbs Zander Davis going 1-2 and Chris Timms going 1-2 as their HWT.
The Lakers are back in action next Friday and Saturday in Eaton Ohio at the Sam Ridder Invite at Eaton High School.
The Lady Lakers are also in action next weekend heading to the always tough Bellefontaine Iron Maiden Lady Invite on Friday and Saturday.
