Middle School Cross Country: West Liberty, Benjamin Logan & Bellefontaine Race

The Bellefontaine Middle School Cross Country Boys team continued their great start to the season with a 3rd-place finish at the Spencerville Invitational.

Leading the way for the Chiefs were:

  • 6th place, Jack Wilson 11:19
  • 23rd place, Caleb Sechrest 12:42 (PR)
  • 33rd place, Liam Scott 12:55 (PR)
  • 34th place, Grady Feasel 12:56 (PR)
  • 44th place, Andrew Myers 13:16

The BMS Girls XC team continues to show tremendous improvement placing 3rd at the Spencerville Invitational.

Leading the way for the Chiefs were:

  • 10th place, Sloan Stolly,3:46 (PR)
  • 16th place, Karsyn Newkirk,14:10 (PR)
  • 31st place, Chloe O’Chocke,14:29 (PR)
  • 39th place, Cameo Greene,14:43 (PR)
  • 43rd place, Leila Hammond,14:51
  • 57th place, Camila Cely-Hernandez,15.31
  • 67th place, Allie Myers,15:46 (PR)
  • 77th place, Blakely Vollrath,16:13

The Chiefs run next at the Minster Classic on Saturday.

The Benjamin Logan Middle School Cross Country teams competed Saturday in the Spencerville Invitational.

  • 19th place, Gwen Smith placed, 14:17
  • 22nd place, Lottie Bodin,14:19

In the boy’s race, Micheal Berry led the Raiders placing 76th of 152 runners with 14:18.

  • 85th place, Greyson Butler, 14:35

Both teams had several personal records.

The Raiders will be in action again next Saturday at the Triad Invitational.

The West Liberty-Salem Middle School Big Orange cross country teams competed Saturday at the Tiffin Carnival Invitational.

The boys came in 1st place out of 35 teams.

Out of 246 runners:

  • Brayan Gullett 4th place 11:06
  • Zeke Longshore 7th place 11:15
  • Adly Knox 10th place 11:16
  • Eric Hoover 19th place 11:38
  • Everett Brooks 123rd place 13:37

  • Landon McKenzie 216th place 16:09

The girls came in 9th place out of 38 teams.

Out of 260 runners:

  • Addi Wallen 9th place 12:45
  • Isla Leichty 31st place 13:30
  • Charlee Albers 68th place 14:16
  • Mia Dooley 76th place 14:22
  • Ella Albers 174th place 16:25
  • Brianna Blair 211th place 17:52

The teams will complete next Saturday at the Cedarville Friendship Invitational.
