Raiders and Lakers Fall Wednesday


The Benjamin Logan Varsity Raiders had trouble keeping up with Graham and fell 12-1 Wednesday.

Keaton Horney had an RBI and Hunter Peterson scored the lone run.


Both teams were strong on the mound on Wednesday, but North Union was just a little bit stronger at the plate in their 2-1 victory over Indian Lake.

Burke Lillard started the game for the Lakers.

North Union were the first to get on the board in the third when Landon Converse tripled, scoring two runs.

Tyler Krebehenne earned the win for North Union. The starting pitcher surrendered three hits and one run over seven innings, striking out three and walking four.

Burke Lillard took the loss for the Lake.

The righty went five and two-thirds innings, giving up two runs on three hits, striking out four and walking two.

Dawson Finfrock went 1-for-3 at the plate as the right fielder led the team with one run batted in.

Evan Manley led the Lakers with two hits in four at-bats.

Indian Lake turned one double play in the game.

The Lakers will welcome North Union on Thursday.
