Raiders fall to Urbana in bowling

Benjamin Logan’s varsity bowling teams hosted Urbana at TP Lanes Monday evening.

The Raider boys fell to the Hillclimbers 2,894 – 2,697.

Gage Hamm fired a 437 series (222, 215), Max Mannings rolled a 410 series (208, 202), Nate Davis pitched a 400 series (244, 156), Jarrett Buckenroth tossed a 375 series (165, 210) and Brayson Dafler recorded a 361 series (200, 161).

Urbana took 3 of the 4 varsity baker games.

Benjamin Logan finishes the season 9-7 in the CBC.

The JV Raider boys beat Urbana 2,457 – 1,856.

Daven Williams tallied a 413 series (204, 209), Caleb Knight had a 389 series (182, 207), and Hayden Godwin fired a 351 series (185, 166). Also contributing were Conner Reames and Daniel Kensler with a 181 game each.

In the JV baker games, Benjamin Logan took 3 out of 4 games from Urbana.

The JV Raider squad ends the season 10-1.

The Benjamin Logan boys will return to action this Saturday at the Wayne Webb Bowl in Columbus competing in the Jaguar Baker Marathon Tournament. The games will begin at 10:30 a.m.

The next CBC action for the Raiders will be the CBC tournament on Friday, February 3rd at Victory Lanes in Springfield. The CBC tournament will begin at 10 a.m.

The Lady Raiders also lost to Urbana 2,412 – 2,201.

Sarah Folk led with a 357 series (205, 152) for Benjamin Logan, Ellie Heim had a 345 series (145, 200), Malori Barnes rolled a 196 game and Reece Plikerd added a 165 game.

The JV Lady Raiders fell to Urbana by default of short players, 1,509 – 1,262.

Reigan Thomas led Benjamin Logan with a 358 series (124, 134), Maddy Hamm rolled a 139 game and Jacey Koehler chipped in with a 128 game.

The varsity Lady Raiders are back in action on Friday, February 3rd for the CBC Tournament at Victory Lanes.
